Class Descriptions

Lotus Yoga classes are trauma informed vinyasa classes including slow flow, all levels flow, and restorative yoga to find balance and peace.

We strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment that honors individual experiences, and yoga’s roots. Each class is designed to cultivate mindfulness, foster body awareness, and encourage self-acceptance as we link movement to breath and practice yoga together.

We do not practice hot yoga, but the room is a comfortable warm temperature, so that you can moderate your own body temperature and needs throughout class.


Lotus Slow Flow

This class is for yogis who need stress relief. Practice will target tension areas in the body and use slow and gentle pose sequencing to relieve stress. This class is recommended for beginners. |1hr -75min|

Lotus All Levels Vinyasa Flow

All are welcome in all levels flow! This moderately paced class offers many options so you can choose the level and intensity you want in your practice. We sync the breath to each movement  as we flow between postures to release stress and tension from the mind and body. |1hr -75min|

LOtus Chakra Flow

These classes deeply explore the mind body connection as we use yoga to process emotions in the mind, body and heart. We use the Chakra system to guide our practice activating the chakra centers to release stagnant patterns and find our true selves. This class has been described as “yoga for the soul,” “years of therapy in 75minutes,” “what yoga is really about”,  and “yoga that changes you.”  | 75min.|

LOtus Restorative Flow

The best way to end your day! This 1hr restorative yoga class will melt away your stress. Gentle stretching and relaxation by candlelight, with calming music, cozy bolsters, blankets, and aromatherapy. |1hr|

Lotus Slow Flow & Somatics

Somatics is a slow, mindful movement that centers around the internal sensations and experience of the practitioner, rather than the external appearance of a pose. The benefits of somatics include a greater physical, mental, and emotional understanding, as well as refinement of how one moves through life and the world at large. This class is appropriate for all levels, including for those experiencing chronic pain. |1hr|

Lotus Mobility + Deep Stretch

This class is designed for yogis looking to enhance their everyday mobility and flexibility. Our practice combines mobility exercises with deep stretching to help you elevate your range of motion. All are welcome! |1hr|

Lotus Pre-natal Yoga

Join us for a prenatal yoga class and connect with other parents to be! This class is suitable for beginner yogis, and all stages of pregnancy. | 1hr|

Lotus Flow & Restore

Flow your stress away through movement with breath, then close your practice with restorative stretching and deep relaxation. Appropriate for all levels of yogi. |1hr|

Lotus Intermediate Flow

For the yogi who is ready to advance their practice! Be ready to sweat and learn as you are guided into more advanced postures, as well as advanced breathing techniques and meditation to deepen your yoga practice on all levels. Not recommended for beginners. |75min|
