Sips of Hope: Rose Tea Blend
March is a difficult month on New England because we get longer days, but still deal with gray dreary weather. During this time of year, and anytime I need to cultivate some hope, I love to drink this Rose tea blend transports me into springtime.
In Springtime flowers bloom, the earthy, grassy, and floral smells fill the air, and everything begins to feel sweeter and more hopeful.
This blend taste and smells like that balance. Using rose petals, white tea, and just a sprinkle of osmanthus flowers for an energizing quality. This blend will transport you to spring and bring you that hope and motivation you need to move with ease into the next season of life.
Let’s blend this tea and drink up the hope, sunshine and sweetness of spring!
For 1 cup of tea using dried herbs: (if making a pot of tea, multiply by 4-5 cups)
1TBSP White Tea
1/2 TBSp Rose Petals or Rose Buds
1/4 TBSP Osmanthus Flower, whole or ground
Blend gently so as not to break the herbs. Pour 1 cup boiling water over the blend and steep 30second to 1 minute. Add some honey or agave for more sweetness if you prefer.
You can re-steep this blend a few times and still get the full flavor.
Sip some hope!
